Smashbox Camera Ready BB Water review. | Beauty.

Hi loves, there's going to be days where you want something light and minimal on your skin and BB creams are known to do this very well. If you're willing to splash out on a higher end product, I would suggest trying the Smashbox Camera Ready BB Water.

The formula is lightweight, very liquidy and sets to a satin/dewy finish with an added bonus of SPF 30. It is sheer to medium coverage that looks incredibly natural on the skin and is very hydrating. 3-5 drops is enough to cover your face that'll even out your skin colour (if you don't have many problems with your complexion, I do tend to use more or conceal on certain areas). I don't think this amount of product would give you the appropriate amount of SPF you need so I do advise to still use an SPF moisturiser or whatever you use under it.

This blends so effortlessly to give you a dewy natural look, on the website it says you can apply this with your fingers but I prefer using a brush or a sponge, which I think most people would prefer too but it's nice to know your fingers could do the job when you don't have anything else.

If you have oily or combination skin, you will love how light this will feel on your face and if you have dry skin, it'll resist clinging onto dry patches on your skin and will feel moisturising. The coverage is sheer enough that signs of fading is less noticeable than a medium to full coverage foundation but still provides enough coverage for those who don't have problematic skin. Shine control for this formula is bad (it doesn't claim to do so anyway) so you will have to powder your skin as usual. It currently costs £29 so if you're willing to splurge on a product like this then I'd recommended you try it.

Thanks for reading.xx
